700 – A Tale for Another Night…
Hi folks.
Seven hundred strips. When I sketched the first moonlit duel on a borrowed drawing board back in 2009, I never dreamed Bramm and the crew would still be tramping through the snow seventeen years later — or that so many of you would tramp along with them.
This week's strip closes out our long winter arc, and with it, the nightly schedule. After many talks with friends whose creative opinions I trust, I've decided to move the saga to one full new strip every Friday, with small one-shot adventures — Sella's archery lessons, Fenwick's disastrous pastries — appearing here between chapters.
I am not going anywhere, however. The Friday strip stays free forever, the archive stays open, and I will keep answering every letter you send to the contact page. If anything, a steadier pace means better battles, bigger moons, and fewer 3 a.m. inking sessions.
A brief bookkeeping note: the supporter page is now the Moonlit Wall of Awesome, where every patron past and present is named in gold. If your name is missing or misspelled, tell me and I will fix it with my finest brush.
Thank you for seven hundred nights of moonlight. The next tale begins Friday — bring cider.
Take care,
– June
